Kingdom Jump

My first professional game, Kingdom Jump. A side scroller made for mobile where you navigate levels, swinging from balloons and shooting enemies that get in your way.

For the development of this game, I was a gameplay programmer, where initially I was tasked with reworking the project and scripts to work using Unity's MonoBehaviours. Once that was done and the company expanded, I then moved onto a mix between general gameplay programming and focusing on the weapons implementation.

With the weapons, there were numerous different weapons to program, all with different effects such as auto-aim, burning, knockback, explosion radius etc. I used an inheritance system to allow all of them to use the same base functionality whilst having these customised effects.
